Join a very special event in district 10 of San Jose, California, brought to you by the San Jose Police Foundation. This Saturday, October 27th 2007  from Noon to 5 P.M. join the San Jose Police Foundation at the Petco Store at 886 Blossom Hill Road (across from Westfield Oakridge Mall) and have your picture taken with a police dog from the San Jose P.D. Canine Unit.

Donations to the San Jose Police Foundation are encouraged and will be used to purchase bullet proof vests for the police dogs in the canine unit and other needed equipment for the Police Department.

Please remember to bring your camera!

San Jose Planning Commissioner and General Plan Update Task Force member, Mr. Mehran (Matt) Kamkar asked me to distribute this information to my network.

On Saturday October 13th 2007, City of San Jose will be holding a workshop at San Jose City Hall to allow you to voice your opinion to City leaders for updating the General Plan.  The General Plan will dictate how the land will be zoned and used in the future.  If you think we need more residential land, or more parkland, more sports field, more retail, more commercial, more industrial, more agricultural or less of everything or a combination of them, this is the meeting to attend.

Refreshments as well as Youth activities will be provided.  Please RSVP with the contact on the flier so they can have enough seats and refreshments. Help Shape the Future of San José!
